For my mom

I reached back into the old family photos to make this card. The process made me remember my grandmothers and miss them more.

Pictured: My Aunt Donna and my mom behind their childhood home, holding their baby dolls.

Inside: She liked it. :)

Saturday with the girls.

Rob and Robert spent yesterday in Augusta at the state soccer tournament. AGS lost in a well-fought game bringing an end to their season. Until 2010 then, Go Hurricanes!

Between reminders of our delicate digestive systems, we girls founds some fun things to do.

Mother's Day comes early

After battling a stomach bug for most of the week, I spent almost 3 hours at the pediatrician with Esther who seems to have gotten the same bug. Upon arriving at home I was greeted with this:

Robert came up with the idea of getting me a flower for Mother's Day. Be still my beating heart.

Robert and Esther exhibit number Two. Still subtitled-" I have conquered the art that was threatening to take over our house."

Here Esther used her sister's face as a medium for a marker drawing and documented it by taking a photo.
Talk about mixed media!
Sigh. Mom doodles too.
